General Information
The
Bay Area chapter of AEE won AEE's International Chapter
of the Year award in 2005.
The
Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) is a nonprofit professional
society of 8,500 members in 77 countries. The mission of AEE is
to promote the scientific and educational interests of those
engaged in the energy industry and to foster action for Sustainable
Development.
AEE's
network of 67 local chapters meets regularly to discuss regional
issues. AEE's roster of corporate members is a veritable who's
who from the commercial, industrial, institutional, governmental,
energy services, and utility sectors.
The
Foundation of the Association of Energy Engineers is a nonprofit
organization that is dedicated to furthering education in energy
and management. To date, the Foundation has awarded over $480,000
in scholarships for use by outstanding students.
